The remit of the European Union Affairs Committee covers issues related to Poland's membership in the EU, particularly stating positions and opinions on:

  • EU legislative proposals
  • draft international agreements to which the European Union, European Communities and/or their member states are to be a party
  • work programmes of the Council of the European Union
  • annual legislative programmes of the European Commission as well as examining information and other documents submitted by the Council of Ministers.
