Born on 10th July 1959 in Międzyrzecze (Lubuskie Province).

In 1983 graduated from the Mechanical Faculty of the Higher Engineering School in Zielona Góra; in 1997 - completed post-graduate studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration of Wrocław University.

Between 1985 and 1992 worked at Przedsiębiorstwo Gospodarki Komunalnej i Mieszkaniowej in Strzelce Krajeńskie (municipal management and housing corporation), and between 1992 and 2007 was director of Zakład Komunalny Sp. z o.o. (municipal services corporation) in that town.

From 1990 to 1992 - deputy chairman of Strzelce Krajeńskie Town Council. From 1998 to 2002 - deputy to Lubuskie Provincial Parliament; from 2006 to 2007 - its deputy speaker.

Member of the Law and Justice political party and member of its district council in Zielona Góra.

Married, has one child.
